They have inconsistently diversified naming schemes and distribution-specific paths with unique helper tools to manage them. How many distributions of GNU/Linux have you really tried, Mr. Dum Dum? Debian & Debian-based shit does not count you ass felchar. It's the most dumbed down shit you could ever have and I strongly refuse to think about it as it was standard.
