Nová softwarová sklizeň (29. 9. 2005)

Osobne sa mi páči gparted, ktorý by som uprednostnil pred gfdiskom. Podporuje toho viac, než len mazanie a vyváranie partícií. Môžete v ňom partície aj resizovať, move-ovať, formátovať...

Mam takovy problemek. Mam 1 HDD, rozdeleny na hda1, hda5, hda6, hda7.
Na hda1 mam okna na fat32, na hda5 data na fat32 a 11GB volneho mista na hda6 Debian Sid na ext3fs a na hda7 swap.
Pokud odriznu z hda5 treba 3BG, umi gparted pripojit tento oddil (pochopitelne naformatovany na ext3fs) k tomu ext3fx na hda6 kde mam prave bezici Linux? Nechci priji o data, ale ruzne hacky se zalohovanim me taky nelakaji. Jsem celkem novacek (mam Linux asi rok).

No, já bych moc nevěřil ani tomu fdisku :-(

BUGS
There are several *fdisk programs around. Each has its problems and
strengths. Try them in the order cfdisk, fdisk, sfdisk. (Indeed,
cfdisk is a beautiful program that has strict requirements on the par-
tition tables it accepts, and produces high quality partition tables.
Use it if you can. fdisk is a buggy program that does fuzzy things -
usually it happens to produce reasonable results. Its single advantage
is that it has some support for BSD disk labels and other non-DOS par-
tition tables. Avoid it if you can. sfdisk is for hackers only - the
user interface is terrible, but it is more correct than fdisk and more
powerful than both fdisk and cfdisk. Moreover, it can be used nonin-
teractively.)
