Steve Wozniak z Apple: I, Woz. iWoz.

Before BlackBerries, PalmPilots, and laptops that fit snugly into briefcases, computers looked like big, alien, vending machines. They had large screens, cryptic switches, huge boxes, and odd lights. But in 1975, a young engineering wizard named Steve Wozniak had an idea: What if you combined computer circuitry with a regular typewriter keyboard and a video screen? The result was the first true personal computer, the Apple I. Widely affordable and easily understood, Wozniak's invention has been rapidly transforming our world ever since.

omfg, take these stupid bullshits out of here, don't you know that computer looked great ! I love mainframes, there were PDT's with VAX or UNIX, no apple, no microsoft, just VAX/NIX and every standard tool I use in today's GNU/Linux or *BSD. Steve Woziak is a stupid dick who looks like huge idiot, big alien and old hairy freak.

To je skvele, to mate i foto, podelite se o nejaky ten cerstve vyfoceny PDP, ktery Vam jeste dnes stabilne bezi?

Max ten VAX, PDP byl jeden hlas v anonymní anketě - prakticky všechny ty stroje jsem viděl, ale na moje opakované výzvy se nikdo nepřihlásil. ;/ O jednu generaci později není problém. ;) Nicméně ještě nedávno jsem narazil na českém webu na nějakou PDPí stránku s fotografiemi něčeho, co teprv před pár lety (max. 8) jedna firma vyřadila, ale teď ji nemůžu najít. :-/ I toho autora jsem původně chtěl kontaktovat. :-)

Tedy, abych to upřesnil, nikdo se nepřihlásil, kdo že má zrovna to PDPčko. :-)
