IBM žaluje Amazon za porušení patentů

Je tu další z řady soudních sporů ohledně patentů. Aktuálně se jedná o žalobu, kterou podala firma IBM na provozovatele elektronického obchodu Amazon. Důvodem je prý porušení patentů ze strany Amazonu. Mnoho z patentů, které prý Amazon porušuje, vzniklo ještě v osmdesátých letech a týkají se především online obchodování na internetu. Společnost IBM k případu vydala vlastní tiskovou zprávu.

No jo, ale ne kazdy buzeruje vsechny okolo s one click metodou a po vsech chce penize .... proste nokoho nastavli v IBM a on to ze srandy dal pravikum ..... dobre Amazonu tak

jaká je doba max. platnosti patentu? Pokud jsou patenty z 80. let, tak nebude dlouho trvat a platnost těchto patentů brzy vyprší.
Do té doby Amazon dostane pokutu a bude :-)

Platnost patentů a autorských práv je nekonečná. Když má něco vypršet, vždycky nějakou chytrou hlavu napadne to prodloužit...

nekonečná není, to není pravda. myslím, že platnost patentu je max. 20 let (možná 25, nejsem si úplně jistý), jedinou vyjímku myslím tvoří léky, které mohou být patentovány déle.
Navíc se patent musí platit pro každou zemi zvlášť a také jen na určizou dobu, přičemž prodloužení doby platnosti je rok od roku dražší. Vyplývý z toho, že pokud si někdo patentuje něco pro USA a Německo, tak já to můžu v ČR vesele kopírovat, akorát to nesmím prodat v Němcku nebo USA ;-)
Navíc se patent musí platit pro každou zemi zvlášť a také jen na určizou dobu, přičemž prodloužení doby platnosti je rok od roku dražší. Vyplývý z toho, že pokud si někdo patentuje něco pro USA a Německo, tak já to můžu v ČR vesele kopírovat, akorát to nesmím prodat v Němcku nebo USA ;-)

jo, je to 20 let. V USA je to trochu jinak, tam existují SW patenty, vzhledem k tomu, že jsem patentovým školením prošel v USA, tak můžu říct, že se max. doba patentové ocharny nemění.
