Abstract
A computer system includes a host processor and an emulation coprocessor. The host processor includes hardware configured to execute instructions defined by a host instruction set architecture, while the emulation coprocessor includes hardware configured to execute instructions defined by a different instruction set architecture from the host instruction set architecture ("the foreign instruction set architecture"). According to one embodiment, the host processor executes operating system code as well as application programs which are coded in the host instruction set architecture. Upon initiation of a foreign application program, the host processor communicates with the emulation coprocessor to cause the emulation coprocessor to execute the foreign application program.

Abstract

nekonečná není, to není pravda. myslím, že platnost patentu je max. 20 let (možná 25, nejsem si úplně jistý), jedinou vyjímku myslím tvoří léky, které mohou být patentovány déle.
Navíc se patent musí platit pro každou zemi zvlášť a také jen na určizou dobu, přičemž prodloužení doby platnosti je rok od roku dražší. Vyplývý z toho, že pokud si někdo patentuje něco pro USA a Německo, tak já to můžu v ČR vesele kopírovat, akorát to nesmím prodat v Němcku nebo USA ;-)
jo, je to 20 let. V USA je to trochu jinak, tam existují SW patenty, vzhledem k tomu, že jsem patentovým školením prošel v USA, tak můžu říct, že se max. doba patentové ocharny nemění.
